Introducing my favorite little buddy in the whole wide world... Hudson Theodor Davis - He came into the world a little early (4 weeks early!) at 5 lbs 10 oz, 18.5 long.

I cannot wait to meet the little guy in a few short weeks. Until then... Thank goodness for Skype!

I heart Sonoma

On MLK day I went up to Sonoma with some friends for a little R&R. We first went on a little hike and found this beautiful lake. I was a wuss and stayed at the lake while the others continued hiking around the lake. It was a lovely way to spend 30 minutes just in peace and taking in God's creation. Then we went on to the Fairmont Sonoma Mission for an afternoon of bliss - mineral baths, steam rooms, saunas, ahhhhhhh. They have a great "Good Neighbor" program that for only $25 you get a day pass to their spa/bath house. Best deal ever!

In reading the WSJ weekend edition this week, I came across an article on painting rooms pink. Perfect timing, as I have been toying with the idea of painting my foyer pink! I think, if done right, it can make a space warm and cozy with a touch of femininity.
