apartment hunt - update #1

As most of my readers know, after 3 years of an amazing apartment, sadly, I am needing to find a new place (unless I win the lottery or meet a sugar daddy). Long story short, Megan (my roommate that actually lives full time in SB is getting married. I am sad to move, BUT excited to decorate a new place and make a new home.

So, the search is on. And I saw a place I liked this Saturday, however it's at the top of my price range (of course), so I put in an offer a little lower than asking with the listing agent with the date I would want to move (May at the earliest). I decided, why not? If it's meant to be, it will happen! While I brought my camera along, I forgot to take photos, doh!

But it's a cute 1 bed / 1 bath in Laurel Heights, my new favorite neighborhood in SF.

Can't wait for the weekend to start. Hopefully I will be taking a photo class tomorrow, but for sure my weekend will contain brunch, mani-pedi and church... and some spring cleaning. Just the perfect relaxing weekend.

Lucca's 1st Birthday

v-day + 3 day weekend = girls day

For Presidents Day weekend (yah for a 3 day weekend!), a few friends and I tried to get out of town to enjoy the long weekend (we looked into Carmel/Big Sur), but as it was also v-day hotels were all booked :(. So, we settled for staying local and having a lovely girls day full of food (brunch and dinner!), papering and even the cheesy movie Valentines Day. Amazing fun, Ladies.

I went to Santa Cruz last weekend for the City Church Retreat and a few of us went to the Natural Bridges State Park/Beach beach Saturday afternoon.
